Deeper care, improved outcomes.

Pregnancy brings extraordinary transformation, so we believe pregnancy care should be designed to go above and beyond to offer the broadest support and the best outcomes.

Why we're doing this

The maternity care we always dreamed of, made real

Astoundingly, the U.S. ranks 55th in the world for maternal mortality, the worst of all the developed nations.

We built Almond Pregnancy Care because as women & mothers ourselves, we knew that the the world needed a solution that meets women where we are, solves problems and empowers us with the depth of understanding to make the best choices for ourselves. We brought together the richness of different pregnancy care traditions spanning the medical, emotional, and spiritual.

We are creating life, after all.

Integrated care centered around you

Medical Expertise

Prenatal care should involve more than your ObGyn visits. In addition to regular group sessions, you’ll be connected with a Doula to supplement your care if desired, along with certified nurse midwives, registered dieticians, lactation consultants and more.

Empowerment

We’ll work with your primary ObGyn to keep them updated on everything that’s going on, without you needing to do all the leg work.

"In some hospitals... cesarean rates have dropped dramatically [with use of laborists]—from 32% (the national average) to just 17%."

What Real Almond Members Are Saying

Marissa M.

"The easiest and least stressful gyno appointment I’ve ever been to - I was nervous going in and my nerves were immediately calmed and I felt completely comfortable. Highly recommend to anyone who has anxiety around gynos or just doctors in general!!! The best!"

Amanda L.

"Dr. Evans has helped me more in the past 7 months than any OBGyn has in the past 15 years. She is a great listener, very thorough, compassionate, and brilliant, and she takes great care of her patients. I feel like she actually knows m instead of just reading notes on my chart quickly before seeing me. She is so validating and just a cool person. I'm moving away soon and genuinely very sad that I will have to switch doctors. Go see her!!"

Nicole O.

"Let’s put it this way. I cried tears of thankfulness and relief at the end of my appointment. So thoughtful and inquisitive to truly try to understand what was happening with me. I will not only tell every female friend I have I would like to tell the world about this place."
